2, Principle:
The test kit is based on indirect enzyme immunoassay, pre-coated the VP1 protein which expressed by porcine FMDV gene on micro-well strips. In the test, add the diluted control serum, then incubate. If FMDV-VP1 special antibody is exist in the sample, it will be bound with the antigens of the micro-well strips. The unbound antibodies and other components are removed by washing. Next, add enzyme conjugation to specifically bind with the component of antigen and antibody on the micro-well strips. Then unbound conjugation will be removed by washing. Add TMB substrate in the micro-well-strip, react with the enzyme to blue product. Ending react with stop solution. At last, test the optical density (OD) value for micro-wells with the reader at 450nm wavelength.
